JustCircuit.com has learned that the Saint-At-Large has cancelled it's New Years Day event due to security. Just last NY Pride, the Saint-At-Large cancelled its Pride event only to resume the event at another venue that weekend.  Box Office Ticket sales for the Saint-At-Large's New Years Day event went off sale on Tuesday morning raising the speculation that the rumor of a cancelled event might be true.

The following statement was posted on a popular music discussion board moments ago and the cancellation was confirmed by Michael Peyton, of Saint-At-Large in an email to JustCircuit:

(REVIVAL [scheduled] Thu 01 Jan 2009 11:30PM ET)

                                                                                 December 29, 2008

Dear Friends,

Due to security concerns beyond our control, The Saint At Large has chosen to cancel REVIVAL, our New Years Day party at the event space, Espace, rather than risk the safety and well-being of our patrons and the overall integrity of our franchise. With anticipation building for another exuberant celebration of our community, it is a very difficult decision since this will be our first canceled event in over 29 years of operation. We plan on returning with a vengeance when we present our milestone event, RITES XXX: THE BLACK PARTY.

Any purchased REVIVAL ticket can be exchanged for an advance ticket to BLACK PARTY 09 being held at Roseland Ballroom on March 21, 2009; otherwise, tickets can be refunded through the vendor from which they were purchased or charged back on credit cards through Box Office Tickets.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Kindest regards

The Saint At Large
