Yesterday's sixth installment of the Genesis Party at Mansion Nightclub in South Beach broke many of its own records.  This year's attendance far exceeded last year's attendance numbers despite a move to a club with a much larger capacity. Mansion Nightclub, this year's venue, is only blocks from last year's Cameo location.  Extra event staff was also added in the final hours before the event due to the increase in will-call and last-minute purchases.  Once again this year, no other major New Year's event was scheduled in South Florida, adding to the attendance success.

DJ Tracy Young spun an eleven-hour set beginning shortly after 8:00AM and continued until the last note at just after 7:00PM.  The 8:00AM opening was slightly delayed due to the Lindsey Lohen event held New Year's Eve and ending only shortly after 5:00AM.  Young also took the advantage of the event to launch her newest release "Genesis Pt. 1" CD, which was made available on a limited basis at the event prior to its official public release later this month.

Twenty year club veteran singer Celeda performed at 1:00PM and pleased the crowd with four of her popular hits including "The Underground" and "Amazing."  The Chicago based Celeda is featured on Tracy Young's "Genesis Pt. 1" CD with the William Umana dub of "Good Time."

Among those spotted in the crowd at Genesis VI were New York's Mark Nelson, South Florida's Hilton Wolman, former Purple Party President and San Antonio resident Gina Chavez and the legendary and show-stopping nightlife socialite Enestra.
